SHE says I must do my taxes so we continue to have kibble in the house. SHE says is a sad, sad thing that an accountant waits until the last possible minute to do her taxes. SHE says you'll see me again on Tuesday, if I'm a good girl.
My human's taxes were done weeks ago! Even her musician boyfriend, who usually gets several extensions, got them done in March. And I did not even have to help! Nyah, nyah. MOL!
...I did my taxes back in late January as soon as I got my W-2's. this has little to do with having a ton of time or a lack of proscrastination, though; it has more to do with the fact that so many stressful, hectic things were going on in my life at the time (among other things, I worked a good six weeks of 12 to 16 hour days 7 days a week without any days off) that when I need a break to do something a little LESS stressful; I stepped away from the work for an hour or two and did my taxes. You may hit a new low, I suppose, if what you're working on at a given time is so stressful and challenging that doing your taxes seems easy and relaxing! :D
...on the plus side, I had my refund my mid-February, and there was much kibble and 'Nip to be had! :)
Meow Meow totally sat on us until we got the taxes filed too. Clearly she had concerns about having a guaranteed kibble supply -- either that, or she really likes the new couch we got for our home office ;)
Awwww... we'll all try to wait patiently 'till we can play once more. Okay? purrs
ReplyDeleteIt's a date! :-)
ReplyDeleteTake care

It was a good choice not to disobey Bitty. I think there would be trouble if you had! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my, Bitty is very strict.
