    I played this video for my cat Zellie, herself a soiled dove that I took in after she was done raising her babies that she had right before her first birthday. The instinct is still there! She meowed in a very eager way and started sniffing around and looking behind my laptop. Poor girl, I think it agitated her that she couldn't find the mewing kittens!
