Need a little something sweet to finish off your day?
Lounging in the newly crowded living room, I spied this the other day... It's a pumpkin roll!! How have I lived with Peggy Sue for months and months and not noticed she's got a pumpkin roll (one of my favorite desserts) on her side?? :-)
And now, that's all I can see when she walks by!! LOL!
Lady L knows that SU ( spousal unit ) and I are also obsessed with cooking. He was a cook in the Navy for 10 + years and we have both run restaurants. One of my favorite non kitteh sites ( yes..I hve those ) is :

Pumpkin puree doesn't exist in my home country and it's way off-season for pumpkin (and "nut brickle" doesn't ring any bell (would that be nut brittle, anyway?)), but I must say that the likeness to the photo for this recipe is pretty good...
Oh Lisa, this made me laugh so much, because I call my cat "my big swirly cinnamon bun" due to the orange swirly pattern on his sides! Miss Peggy Sue does look delicious!
What a cutie :) I've never had a pumpkin roll. Recipe please?
ReplyDeleteoh yum! i could eat a whole pumpkin roll myself...

Agreed, pumpkin rolls sound delicious! I'm in for the recipe, too! If it's anything as sweet as the pumpkin roll on Peggy Sue, it's gotta be great! :D
