Oh my! Our little kittens are growing up! First, Little Girl initiated the first kitten to human interaction by rolling over and offering her belly after I had stroked her back. I was so excited I almost forgot to grab the camera!
But our sweet dweebles weren't done - Buff Boy had to demonstrate that he could walk (which, of course, had to be filmed, too)... and you realize this means they'll soon be scrambling out of the "double-wide!" Then, as I was packing up once more, I could hear purrs as the kittens settled in to nurse (which, of course, I also had to try to capture on film).
So here are three short videos AND they include a bit of Peggy Sue in two of them!
Wow!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful of you to share all these important moments with us! I've never had a chance to follow kittens this small, so this is something totally new and exciting. I didn't know they learn to purr so early!
The kittens really are growing fast. The buff boy definitely went from being a baby to being a toddler... Peggy Sue must eat a ton of food every day, as she manages to produce enough milk for the four the grow this well!
I'm like Mari -- I've never been around kittens. Both my girls were older (1 three months; 1 one year) when I adopted them. And I've never had to choose an animal out of a litter. I don't think I could do it!!! I love how Peggy Sue looks like she's winking at the end of the purring video!!! What a sweet, sweet family.
ReplyDeleteJust when you think they couldn't be any more cute...
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful to follow these little ones! They're all so happy and loving.
ReplyDeleteThere are some forever homes that are going to be very, very lucky.
These videos are the perfect antidote to all the bad news out there.
I think the UN should mandate that after every television/online video story about a crime, political idiocies, early death, and so on, there should be at least 30 seconds of kitten videos. Newspaper stories should have the same requirements but photographs.
Think of how that would help the world's blood pressure!
Thank you so much for all these videos, its great to see the important kitten moments!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness ... the purring and the milk treading are too much! What a sweet bunch.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen kittens this small either, so these videos and pictures have been a joy to watch! I keep coming back to see how much they've grown.
ReplyDeleteJust precious. And it's so clear that you love them. The audio in the last one would be perfet "white noise" for those nights I have trouble sleeping..
ReplyDeleteScritches to Aggie, too!
those videos were great! aahhhh the purring... sounded like their little motors were going to town;-)
ReplyDeleteand the wink from Peggy Sue at the end. What a beautiful mommy! Thanks Lisa!
p.s. what a great ideam AnnF, the world might be a better, calmer, more compassionate place to live.
Oh and I meant to say it made my day to see Peggy Sue. She is one blessed kitty! And yes I concur everyone should watch kittens everyday. I know they bring down my blood pressure and put a smile on my face.
ReplyDeleteI love little kitten videos! They are growing so well.
ReplyDeleteOh my! They are growing so much. Sigh... how cute!
ReplyDeleteMe, too, guys! I just sit and watch the dweebles and grin like a fool. A sure antidote to whatever ails ya! I concur, great idea, Ann F!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like the videos because they are a lot easier than still photos (so there will be more!).
I love love love your videos...I can just sit and watch them all day long...these guys are just too cute for words...the belly rubs, the tentative first steps, the purring...oh, each and every one of them melt my heart...
ReplyDeleteOh they are such little cuties - and yay for walking!
ReplyDeleteWow, has it been almost a year already? I can't believe it. So glad Miss Peggy Sue finally found a home! And Buff Boy too, a.k.a. Percy!
