Post V-E-T Progress

Thank you, everybody, for your well wishes for Annie, yesterday. Remarkably, she's doing a bit better since we got back from Doc Andrew's, and it can't be the meds. Hey, we'll take it! She's not back to her normal self, but she is hanging out in the living room now, if only for half an hour at a time. Here's a pic of her chilling in the sunlight.

Annie had stopped eating with the General Population (and she LOVES her stinky goodness) over a week ago and that's what pushed me from "I'm a little worried she's not snapping back" to "we need to get her checked out." Tonight she actually joined the crew for dinner... OK, three bites and then she took off... but she came out to eat with everybody! That's progress!

Got an introduction and a visit from some old friends comin' up next week!

  5. I think a 1/2 hour laying in a nice warm sunbeam is bound to put any cat in the right frame of health! I know it does wonders for me! :)

Hoping sweet kitty gets a little better every day!

  11. Yay for Annie! That is wonderful news...hope she continues to relax and mix in with the general population more and more...it must have been so hard on her to lose her two favorite friends...when Poppy died, Gambino just crashed really hard both emotionally and physically...we'll hope and purr and pray that Annie feels happier and peppier every day!

  12. I'm glad Annie is doing better. It sounds like she took the passing of Grey and Winnie quite hard, poor sweet girl. Lots of love to her, and may the extra boost from her meds continue to help her feel better!
