I've heard of sleeping under the covers but this?

I finally got a shot of Grey "under the pillows." Our big boy does this all the time... somehow he manages to snuggle his butt up to the pillows, in chairs and on the bed, until they fall over on him. It happens so often, I can't help but figure he does it intentionally. :-)

And here you can see why we have been out of commission for a couple of days... we're remolding here at Casa Space Paws!

The den/spare bedroom suite is going to be turned into an open plan kitchen/dining room. And yes, they'll still be able to be used for quarantine. The kittehs have adored having two virtually empty rooms to bat around all the pistachio shells uncovered when the furniture was moved. LOL!

The construction will take a couple of months and then we'll finally have a kitchen on the first floor - what a luxury! As a matter of fact, briefly, the casa will have three kitchens... one on each floor (don't curse me, Aunty)! Ultimately, the second floor kitchen will be dismantled and become a laundry/craft room. The basement kitchen will be downsized and moved to the rear of the basement.

The living room is now crammed with most of the stuff that was in it plus lots of the den stuff, including the desk. Generally I think the gang approves of the new arrangement - they seem to like being able to cruise the entire room without ever touching the floor - but I'm already suffering from claustrophobia!! Ought to be an interesting few months... but we'll have some nice spaces for new fosters when it's over!
