George was, indeed, the most popular of the boys names submitted. Although perhaps the introduction to the naming post swayed some votes.
Mr. George is the most solidly orange kitten so it was only fitting that he have Mango as a middle name. We have it on good authority that Mango was supposed to have been a girl's name so, rather than pick another, we have decreed that Mango is like Leslie... a truly unisex moniker. And Angie provided us a humorous link to a Chris Kattan character of the same name!
We established the precedent with Ginny, so here's a quick clip of George saying hello!

ReplyDeleteOh, such a cutie - and Mango is fine for a boy - just look at that old Saturday Night Live skit (ok, not the best example but the only male Mango I could think of). George is a great name too!
