Waiting (Im)Patiently
We're still pacing the floor awaiting delivery. At least I am. Peggy Sue has mostly been chilling out. She was ravenous yesterday, consuming three 3oz cans of cat food last night, in addition to her dry rations. Her gait has changed to a careful waddle and she must have toured all of the boxes five times. I thought for sure she'd deliver, and so I slept with her again last night. Nope. I'm hoping for today - those lawn chair cushions really aren't as comfortable as they look. ;-)
Peggy Sue asks for belly rubs constantly now and I fell asleep with my hand on her tummy, feeling the tiny flutters. I'll have to ask Doc Andrew if that was the kittens or digestion when we go in for a check up and FIV/FeLV tests today!!
Aggie was full of vim and vigor yesterday, but she'll tell you herself in the post below.

ReplyDeleteOh she is such a sweetheart...so glad that she's in a safe and loving home and can get all the care that she needs right now :) Please give her a belly rub for me as well :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure she totally appreciates the support. What a sweet girl.
ReplyDeleteC'mon, Peggy Sue, let's get on with it! You've got lots of comfy spaces there, but the human doesn't! :-)
