Catching up with Rancho J2

Will you just look at bright eyed Tango! He's in his favorite place, hanging around in the hammock. Nip recovery is proceeding normally and he's scheduled to go back to the vet next week for his final check up.

Things are looking up for Miss Whiskey. She's up and about now and keeping a sharp eye on her beans. She just got her last dose of Clavimox and is headed for check up tomorrow, so keep your paws crossed, please!

And here she is doing her cute thing. Irresistable, huh?? :-) Joy says she even accepts tummy rubs... sort of. Still got to be careful. That's a big incision.

Joy and Jim are hoping this is the last of the meds and that they can start being friends with this sweet duo again!!

  4. Darling Whiskey, you really had a hard time of it, didn't you. The scar really brings it home. We are sending mega purrs for both of you to get an A+ report from the vet, and hope you enjoy being able to relax and make friends with the J2 crew.

  5. I don't know ... Whiskey looks like she just might be ready to trust some beans for real! As long as they give her time.

  7. So happy things are going well with Whiskey and Tango...hope once the meds are over, they will make friends with the beans quickly ;) Not that I blame them for being a bit wary though, I mean I'd imagine if someone grabbed me, removed bits and pieces from my body, and then spent the next couple of weeks shoving meds down my throat...I wouldn't be in a hurry to make friends either ;)

  8. Whiskey and Tango are gorgeous cats, and I envy the J2 crew's opportunity to make friends with them and bring them into their family. These kitties had a rough start - but they are surely in for great times ahead!

  10. What precious little faces. Is it my imagination, or is Miss Whiskey looking a bit less 'wild'?

And WOOHOO for Peggy Sue! Can't wait to see her new forever home, and meet her new human servants!

Thank you for the comment!! I think your workplace sounds fascinating. I think I would like the Big Bang Theory ;-)9or what it's worth, I don't think there are enough intelligent TV shows out there about truly bright characters. Even if they're a bit caricature-y, I'll take smart, funny geeks over backstabbing Desperate Survivors or Reality Housewives or whatever :-)
