It's been such a pleasure watching this "superlitter" grow and thrive as the two mothers raised their babies together at Casa Kittenpalooza.
Somerset was born on March 10th and had lots of fun with her sibs and cousins. Her illness was blessedly short. Her portrait was taken when she was just shy of two weeks old.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to Jane and her Mom, who have taken wonderful care of these sweet ones. And hugs to you, too, Miss Caroline.
I'm sending up a little word to my sweet Tish, to wander on over and greet the newest arrival at the Bridge tonight.
Hugs, Jane, from all your friends at Space Paws.
Poor little girl. Always so sad when they don't make it. I hope the others continue to thrive, and my heart goes out to Jane.
ReplyDeleteIt's very sad she didn't make it. But it wasn't for lack of care. Purrs and tail wags.
ReplyDeleteAs much as we want to, we just can't save them all. She's in a good place.
ReplyDeleteOh, poor baby! :-(
ReplyDeleteIt's so difficult to lose any, but I suppose not everyone is meant to survive. Still, I'm sending healing Light to all concerned and hope the other babies are strong and thriving. (((Hugs))) to Jane.
Oh no, we really hate hearing that sad news and our whiskers are all weepy wet. Have a peaceful journey sweet one.
ReplyDeleteWe're sorry to hear this sad news & hope the other kittens thrive and find forever homes.
ReplyDeleteOur condolences too from 9, Chani and me. It's always sad, but we know she was well cared for and loved. Sending some thoughts to Q to meet Somerset and greet her nicely. He could be surly down here, but I bet he's mellowed a bit across the Bridge.
ReplyDeletePoor little~!!! We send gentle hugs and purrs to them
ReplyDeleteOh, poor little one. We are so sorry to hear this sad news. Thank you for loving Somerset so much and so well. Purrs and prayers.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your purrs and prayers, hugs and tail wags. Every one of your wishes helps immeasurably. I will not stop loving these little babies, I can't help but give tummy kisses...I am crazy in love with each of the kids. That means it hurts even more when someone doesn't make it...but it wouldn't be worth doing if I did any less. Sommerset was an awesome little girl baby...we didn't even have her long enough to know what we will miss. She was here to teach me something...I will figure out what her lesson was. Cheers...Jane (Kittenpalooza)
