Our friend, Angie at WeeFurries needs our help to find Sacha a good home. You can read more about her at Angie's blog, but the short of it is that Sacha is an only cat kinda girl. Gentle, sweet and affectionate, she just needs a human (or two!) to love her and her alone.

ReplyDeleteWhat you do, and what the lady (oh dear, her name is escaping me!) at Itty Bitty Kitty Committee does, has inspired me. On Saturday, I signed up to volunteer with the shelter from which I adopted my Harley Dude. Once a week, I'll go to my local PetCo and clean cages and cuddle needy cats. : ) I don't have the time or the means to take in fosters, and my personal limit of permanent feline residents is two, so this will be a lovely way to give back!
Go Meg! That's what we do, too, because we have four permanent residents but still want to love all the cats at PetSmart.

ReplyDeleteAlso - I LOVED the "Matter and Properties" writeup from yesterday! Might I suggest that specimens exhibiting the Orange Fur property could represent an isotope of the matter at hand? Other isotopes would share the other properties, but would vary in the color, type and length of the fur. (I'm a chemist by training and it shows sometimes, sorry.)
meg, that's what i do too, and i too was inspired by ibkc and co (i think i started before space paws was online). giving us cravings for kitty cuddles... it's definitely not a bad thing!

We wish we knew anyone in Florida who could take her but everyone we know there is already a kitty owner (because we know them through the kitty blogs). But we will send out some good thoughts for her to find one!
